We, the Valia Consultancy (VC), have started Capital Market operations on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on 3rd. November 1994 (the first day of NSE’s Capital Market Segment) and are one of the most active members on the exchange since then. Our Derivatives Market operations started on the Exchange in August 2001. NSE is India’s leading stock exchange operating through one of the world’s largest VSAT networks comprising of more than 2400 VSATs spread over more than 295 plus cities in India.
We are also very closely working with Exchange for various commercial and technical matters. We were the members of Committee of Settlement Issues and Dispute Resolution Committee for many years since their inception. We are also the members of the Group on Risk Management in Equity Markets setup by SEBI (Securities and Exchange Board of India). Our CEO is also on the panel of arbitrators of the NSE. Our technical association with the exchange also dates long back. Many of the exchange’s technical development projects have been first implemented and tested at our site before releasing to all members.
The firm is ably managed by Mr. Jayesh D. Valia, a commerce graduate with professional qualifications of C. A. and M. B. A. (in finance and information systems from USA). Supported by a team of dedicated personnel, we have been providing flawless services to our clients since the inception. There has not been a single incidence whereby we have not been able to meet the deadline set by the exchange or clients. Always open to new technologies and ideas, we have been able to automate almost all our activities, and thus can devote more time to new developments.
